In order to promote Hindi language, the Hindi Diwas is celebrated with great pomp and to inculcate the Three- Language formula in the minds of students, Sri Prakash is celebrating Hindi Diwas every year on a grand scale. The day also marks the birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, who was an acclaimed Indian scholar. Simha is known for the illustrations in the original final manuscript of the Constitution of India. It was on his 50th birthday that the Hindi language got adopted in official terms. It was the late Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who decided to celebrate September 14 as Hindi Diwas. On 14th September in the year 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India decided by one vote that Hindi would be the official language of India. Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14 September to mark this day.
Sri Prakash has celebrated the Hindi Diwas by conducting Doha recitation, Poster making, Essay Writing and Story Writing to bring awareness about the importance of the Day. The Chief Guest Smt. K. Padmavathi
quoted in her speech that the necessity of Hindi Language and expecting Hindi must be spoken by all new generation kids. The Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy has encouraged the students through his speech that all Languages must equally be treated and students should learn the language perfectly.
Prizes for the winners of various competitions have been given away by the Chief Guest and all In- charges along with all Hindi Teachers. The Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy presented a memento to the Chief Guest Smt. K. Padmavathi and he appreciated all the students.
