KIDS DAY-2014 (Kerintalu) organized in Sri Prakash Vidya Soudham on 27th March, 2014 amidst of cheerfulness, josh and ecstasy. Students from L.K.G. to V class took active part in this function.
This Kids-Day-2014 is scaled on the basis of creating awareness in children on nation, patriotism, various Indian cultures, customs, crafts, and peoples’ sacrifice.
In schools, students take pledge everyday just mechanically and regularly but not with its value felt. Everyone should understand why the pledge is taken and what character we get by following the pledge in our life.
Sri Pydimarri Venkata Subba Rao, writer of our pledge (telugu version) reminded our duties and responsibilities through the pledge. In order to inculcate ‘Duty and Responsibility’ among children right from tender age, Sri Prakash Management designed a program “My Country and I”.
In this children performed various Indian states’ dress style, food habits, culture and habits. They showed that parents, teachers and guests are our real gods and appealed to show mercy on animals. Students presented each line of pledge in the form song and dance and made all the spectators spellbound.
Chief Guest of this function, Students’ parents, Sri Prakash Management and others appreciated the programs and children’s performances through which they promoted the value of pledge and the necessity of it which has to be inculcated from childhood onwards.
The program was initiated with traditional welcome, followed by convocation to U.K.G. students from Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint of Secretary of Sri Prakash. Later, prizes were distributed to all the winners by Parent Representative Guests Sri Ramisetty Ram Mohan Rao, and Sri Sagarapu Falguna Rao.
On this occasion, they stated that Sri Prakash Management has been striving to inculcate the ‘Duty and Responsibility’ of every child towards nation through the program “My Country and I” which has won the hearts of many people and made them spellbound.
On this Eve, Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions said that our children are our future; let us start training them to do their daily works by themselves. Every parent should spend some time with their children so that they can find and solve their children’s problems through which they can make them the ‘Real and Efficient Leaders for the society.
On this platform, Dr.Chandra Sekhar Sankuratri, Founder Chairman and Executive Director of Sankuratri Foundation was grandly felicitated by Sri Ch.V.K.Narasimha Rao, Secretary and Correspondent, Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions, Principals of various Sri Prakash Institutions, In charges of various departments and other officials of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions.
Later, Dr.Chandra Sekhar Sankuratri, Chief Guest of this function, and founder chairman of Sankuratri Foundation addressed the gathering and said that I have been listening about this Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan since long but today I availed this time to come here. Now-a- days situations in the society are not good. During these bad times, society became like ‘My home and I’, ‘My Family and I’, ‘My village and I’. But Sri Prakach children have taken the concept of “My Country and I’, which is fantastic and marvelous. I really appreciate and congratulate the Sri Prakash Management for providing ‘Value Based Education to the Children who are future citizens of India’.
Children performed various programs like Fancy dress, Different states’ folk dances, life achievers, Pratyaksha Daiwalu, Nava Bharatam and Patriotic songs.
