Sri Prakash students celebrated the national festival i.e., 70th Independence Day at Sri Prakash Vidya Soudham on 15th aug, 2016.
Students of Sri Prakash gathered in ground at sharp 7.30 a.m. Chief Guest of the function is Mr.G.Rambabu, Circle Inspector of Police, Nakkapalli attended the function. Students gave him a traditional welcome at the gate and invited him into school campus.
He hoisted the national flag and addressed the children on time management, respect to elders, positive attitude towards society, planting trees and saving every drop of water for future generations. Swatch Bharat was highlighted in his message.
He advised the students to make the best use of the technology for their improvement. He condemned crime in its various forms. He warned the youngsters against wide spread cyber crime.
Dr.Veer Raju, Incharge Principal, SPACES degree college and Mr.VVS Bhanu Murthy, principal SPJC inspired the children with their messages.
NCC cadets ceremoniously attended to flag hoisting. Students from various branches spoke about the importance of Independence Day and rendered patriotic songs. Fruits were distributed to students and staff at the end.
