Class IV students of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan had been to fields in Magavaram village, as part of their field trip activity. Students enthusiastically took part in knowing the importance of a farmer and how he produces paddy and vegetables. Children were made aware of the farming methods and irrigational facilities. Mr.Subrahmanya vasu the farmer, who clarified children’s doubts is not only kisaan but also Jawaan. He used to work in Army. We are very proud to say that he is one of our parents. This trip helped the student to enhance their experiential learnings. They also acquired knowledge of different methods of farming. This experential learnings, when carried forward in to class, will strengthen their practical observations.
