The 13th edition of Gaata Rahe Mera Dil, the musical show which marked the 43rd foundation day of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions was celebrated with lots of enthusiasm on 18th and 19th August 2019 at Sai Vedika convention hall, Tuni. The preparation started in the month of June itself with the notification. All the singing enthusiasts tried their best to be in the finals of GRMD . Mrs. Sameera Baradwaj the charismatic play back singer who enthralled the gathering with her live songs was the jurist and guest of honour for the finale. On the eve of GRMD that is on 18th August Mr.D.Vinodh Kumar, Sitar player from Guntur and Sri. A.S John, flautist from Vizag and enthralled the audience with their performance.
It was the musical presentations of young budding artists of Sri Prakash which captivated the audience. There were 21 artist in the juniors and 16 in the seniors category who gave a tough competition among each other to reach the finals on 19th. With their rendition of memorable songs in different categories like singers’ choice, tragedy, jolly, old melody, song other than mother tongue each participant captivated the audience hearts. Finally amidst the applause of audience, Blaze Evan of SPVN Rajamahendravaram and Akash Dewangan of SPJC Payakarao peta received their winner’s trophy in the juniors and senior category respectively from the guest of honour Smt. Sameera Baradwaj.
