The valedictory ceremony of Rim Zhim 2025, held on the eve of Children’s Day, was an enlightening and inspiring event for both students and teachers. The distinguished chief guests shared thought-provoking insights that broadened everyone’s understanding of education and the future of learning.
In the morning session, Dr. G. V. S. R. Deekshitulu, Vice-Principal, JNTU Kakinada, emphasized the depth and importance of our education system. He shared that IIT Madras has launched an Online Degree in Data Science for students who have completed their +2 this year. With over 13 lakh registrations, this program allows students to pursue a B.Sc. degree from IIT Madras online, parallel to their regular college courses—offering them the opportunity to earn two degrees simultaneously.
Dr. Deekshitulu also highlighted that the future of computing lies beyond Artificial Intelligence, encouraging students to explore Quantum Computing—its principles, possibilities, and potential to transform technology. Above all, he advised children to continue nurturing their passion along with their profession, as true success comes from the harmony of both.
Another esteemed guest, Mr. Sridhar Arnala, Vice President (S & D), The Hindu Group, educated students on the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence. He reminded them that AI is not an enemy or a threat, but a powerful tool that must be used by individuals with strong morals, ethics, and human values. He further stressed and insisted that students should adopt “Gratitude as Attitude,” stating that if everyone embraced this value, our society, country, and world would remain safe, happy, and peaceful.
Mr. Sridhar also expressed his happiness in visiting Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, appreciating it as an institution that values values and teaches values through practice.
I sincerely appreciate and congratulate the Sri Prakash team of teachers and the Management for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring event, and for inviting such distinguished guests who enlightened both students and educators during the Rim Zhim 2025 Valedictory Function.
