Sri Prakash Ayurvedic Hospital recently commemorated the auspicious Dhanvantari Jayanti and National Ayurveda Day with a solemn and vibrant ceremony organised by the Sri Prakash AYUSH Charitable & Research Trust. The event was inaugurated by the founders, Mr. and Mrs. Ch.V.K. Narasimharao, who performed the sacred Dhanvantari Homam accompanied by the chanting of Vedic scholars.

The celebration was honoured by the presence of eminent Ayurvedic physician Dr. Kannalayam Gopalan Ravindran and renowned spiritual orator Sri Chaganti Koteswara Rao. The guests were warmly received with traditional Kolatam dance by the students and a Poornahuti ritual performed by the Vedic pandits. Dr. Ravindran was felicitated by Sri Chaganti Koteswara Rao in token of his distinguished contributions to Ayurveda.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ravindran emphasised that Ayurveda is a precious heritage passed down by ancestors and serves as a guiding light for healthy living. He remarked that Ayurveda is gaining global recognition and importance in contemporary healthcare.

Sri Chaganti Koteswara Rao captivated the audience with his discourse on the importance of reading and learning from the biographies of great personalities. He highlighted the marvel of the human body and the power of a disciplined mind, underscoring the invaluable role of a selfless guru as a guide to higher achievements in life.

Expressing his delight on the occasion, Mr. Ch.V.K. Narasimharao highlighted the Trust’s mission to bring authentic Ayurvedic treatments to the local community, inspired by the renowned practices of Kerala.

The event was attended by dignitaries including Dr. U. Indulal, trustee of Akami Ayurvedic Hospital, Psychological counselor Ms. Aparna Sharma, Sri Prakash Educational Institutions Joint Secretary Mr. Ch. Vijay Prakash, Ayurvedic advisors Mr. Alapati Rajendra Prasad, chief physicians Dr. T. Ramesh Babu and Dr. M.A. Sumayya, hospital staff, faculty members, students, and respected guests from Tuni and Payakaraopeta.
