The UKG children went on an exciting outdoor learning trip to explore different modes of transport and understand basic road safety rules. As part of their learning theme, the students observed various vehicles such as cars, buses, bicycles, autos,trains and trucks moving on the road. They learned how each vehicle works and how people use them to travel from one place to another.
The children also learned about traffic lights and their meanings. They joyfully repeated, βRed means stop, yellow means wait, and green means go!β Teachers guided them in identifying the colours and explained traffic signals keeps everyone safe.
Another important part of the visit was understanding the zebra crossing. Students practised how to cross the road safely by walking on the stripes and looking both ways before stepping forward. This hands-on experience helped them understand the importance of being careful on the road.
Overall, it was a fun-filled and educational experience. The UKG students returned with more awareness about road safety and a better understanding of transport in their surroundings.
