Class 2 had a special Athidi visit—Mr. G. Lova Raju a farmer from our local community. He spoke to the children about the importance of farming and how farmers work hard every day to grow the food we eat.
The farmer explained that it takes a long time for plants to grow. He told the children that seeds need soil, water, sunlight, and care. He reminded everyone that because farmers spend many months growing crops, we should never waste food.
To give the children a real experience, he also showed them how to sow seeds. The students enjoyed the activity and learned how plants begin their life. They were excited to see how a tiny seed can grow into a big plant.
The interaction helped children understand the value of farmers and the importance of respecting food. It was a meaningful and practical learning experience for all.
