To help students understand where our food comes from and to promote experiential learning, Grade-4 students and teachers visited Green Earth Organic Farm in Sri Prakash soudham. The aim of the trip was to provide hands-on experience about how fruits and vegetables are grown without using chemicals.
At the farm, students explored fresh vegetable fields and interacted with the farmer. They observed how compost is made from dry leaves and kitchen waste to keep the soil healthy. They also learned how rainwater is saved and used for watering plants.
Students were curious to know more about organic methods and asked many questions about natural pest control and soil care. All the students enjoyed the visit and shared that it was a fun, healthy, and educational experience.
