Grade 5 CBSE students of Sri Prakash Vidhya Niketan, Payakaraopeta visited a large-scale cashew processing factory to explore the importance of small and large scale industries,where they learned how cashews move from raw nuts to the ready-to-eat kernels we enjoy.
The staff guided us through each stepβsteaming, shelling, peeling, grading, and packing. Students were excited to see how machines and workers work together to maintain quality and hygiene.
This visit helped students understand how industries operate, how many people are involved, and how such factories support the local economy. It was a meaningful experience that connected classroom lessons with the real world.
The field trip was both educational and enjoyable, giving students clear insights into industrial processes.
