A successful and enriching field trip was organised for the UKG and Class 2 students to Smart Bazaar, a well-known supermarket. The trip aimed to provide hands-on learning beyond the classroom, helping young children understand the everyday world of shopping, healthy food choices, and social interaction.
Upon arrival at Smart Bazaar, the children were warmly welcomed by the store staff, who guided them through the various sections. The young learners eagerly explored aisles filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, grains, and grocery items.
The UKG students had their first taste of supermarket shopping as they observed how items are arranged and labelled. The Class 2 students took it a step further with hands-on experiences—selecting products, understanding price tags, handling money, and learning about the billing and payment process.
The trip to Smart Bazaar turned out to be both fun and educational, leaving the children with happy memories and valuable learning experiences.
