Students develop thinking skills as they try to relate the various things around them, to the metals from which they are made. Students of SPVN, Annavaram visited 'Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Copper Works" located in Annavaram. This industry is a small scale industry established 60years ago. Mr. Subramanyam Garu proprietor of the copper industry gave the information about the raw material and manufacturing process. Students observed that there are limited machineries like metal cutter, leveler, metal printer, moulder and so on. They learned the process of making of coins and printing on them. Mr. Subramanyam Garu blessed the children with small brass pendants.
