Sri prakash VidyaSoudham at Payakaraopeta was the centre of galvanizing activity for the last three days in a Youth Festival Format. SPACES Degree College, Sri Venkateswara College of Education, Sri Ventateswara College of Primary Education, Sri Prakash College of Physical Education and Sri Prakash College Of Engineering vied with one another in the vibrant Intercollegiate cultural and Sports competitions from 8th to 10th Feb.

Foundation, Tekkali as Guests of Honor. The Proceedings started with the presentation of a comprehensive report by the Convenor of Spandana, Dr. K. Veeraju, Principal-in-charge of SPACES Degree College. A Panel Discussion on  the “youth of India Confused   or Confident”, was conducted with the students as the panelists. The student panelists were unanimously agreed on the change for the better mindset of youth who should move from confusion to confidences, missing to any challenging occasion.

In his address to the students, Prof Hari Prakash enlightened on positive contribution appreciated the students’ efforts for their active participation and sportive spirit, to  emerging out of competence. Youth is the best demography dividend

A campus drive was organized at SPACES Degree College under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh skill development corporation. In this program, while speaking SRI P.B.SRINIVAS said that the APSSDC is striving to provide job opportunities to the unemployed youth in rural areas. Training will be provided by skill development. 16 companies participated in this Job Mela 300 candidates were registered. 42 of them qualified in the interviews conducted by the company delegates. 107 others were shortlisted. This was the second Job Mela by APSSDC in this academic year. Last time 62 candidates were issued appointment letters and this time 42 candidates. Sri Sai Indane Gas conducted Safety clinic programme for SPACES Degree College girl students wherein they were enlightened on various safety measures and precautions while fixing the refill cylinder, while lighting burner and while smelling at night.  Lights should not be switched on while charging the refill. The rubber tube should be regulated at least once every two years.  The standing position of the gas cylinder is important.  Consumption of gas should be properly saved.  Dr. K.Veerraju advised the students to follow the abpve tips and stand as role models to others. 

Sri B.Suryanarayana Tahsildar and Assembly Assistant Electrol Officer of the Constituency of Tuni enlightened the spaces Degree College students on the importance of “Right to Vote”  the elaborated on why youngsters should utilize their franchise.  He clarified that those who were born before Dec31, 1955 are eligible for casting their vote and let the students know about the relevant forms and documents.  He issued them form6 applications saying that the registered candidates will be issued electoral.  Photo identity cards by the election commission of India.  The special drive lasted from July 1st to July 31st. 

SPACES Degree College, Payakaraopeta, hosted an awareness meeting to enlighten the students on traffic towards and accidents.  K.Satyanarayana, Traffic SI, while speaking advised the students to wear helmets while riding a bike and the seat belt while driving a car.  He warned them against overloaded autos.  He told them to keep their identity cards and relevant documents with them.  He felt that student should play a key role in bring out a change among the public and urged them to progress in life with a high aim, which would their parents and teachers proud.
