Three-Day Culinary Workshop: "Flashback Flavours
SPACES Degree College recently held a three-day culinary workshop called "Flashback Flavours" from 12th November 2024 to 14th November 2024 to celebrate the rich food heritage of Andhra Pradesh. The workshop aimed to promote entrepreneurship and skill development among students while preserving the state's culinary traditions. Total 20 students were participated.
During the workshop, participants learned how to make traditional Andhra recipes like Bellam Garelu, Putharekulu, Kotaiah Kaja, Madugula Halwa, Bandaru Laddu, and Bandaru Halwa. The sessions were led by experienced chefs who shared their knowledge and skills with the participants.
In addition to the cooking sessions, the workshop also featured an interactive session on the business aspects of the food industry. The Secretary and Correspondent of the college shared valuable insights on costing and business tips, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
The college management organized the workshop, and the participants expressed their gratitude to the management, faculty members, and staff for their support and encouragement. The workshop was a huge success, and the participants gained valuable knowledge and skills in traditional Andhra cuisine.
