L.O: To make the children aware of Dental care.
We invited Mr. Naagireddy a dentist of Venkateswara Dental clinic, as Athidi for class-4. He demonstrated the types of teeth. He explained and showed the way of brushing the teeth using a peanut sized paste with a soft brush in up and down, circular motion. He also suggested massaging the gums everyday while brushing to make our teeth strong. He shared the reasons for tooth decay. He advised the children to consult a dentist when they have tooth ache and swelling of the gums without taking medicines on their own.
The children asked their queries such as, the number of days it takes to get permanent teeth after losing their milk teeth. They also asked him what they have to do if they have two teeth at the same place or on one another.
