Objective: To get awareness on oral health
As a part of our school curriculum,we have an " Athidi'' Dr. P.Naresh B.D.S ( Bachelor of Dental Science) Satya Dental Clinic, Tuni) He explained the parts of a tooth, types of teeth and their functions. He showed pictures of teeth with different tissues. He demonstrated the right way of brushing the teeth using model teeth. He also asked a few students to present the right way of brushing by giving a brush and teeth set. He advised the children to brush their teeth twice a day for two to three minutes. He suggested taking a peanut sized amount of paste for brushing. He told white coloured pastes are preferable than different coloured and flavored pastes for healthy teeth. At the end, he answered the questions of children on Dental care .
