South Zone Hand Ball Tournament games were closed at Sri Prakash Vidya Southam. In this closing ceremony, Sri Yanamala Krishnudu, Chairman, Market Committee, Tuni, Sri Polnati Seshagiri Rao, Area Hospital Development Chairman, Tuni, Sri Inuganti Satyanarayana, Chairman, Tuni Municipality, Sri Surla Lova Raju, Chairman, The Tanadava Co-operative Sugars Limited attended this function as chief guest and guests of honor.
These dignitaries watched the final match and appreciated the winners. On this occasion, Sri Yanamala Krishnudu, Chief Guest of the function addressed the gathering and said that students from various states gather at one place to play the game develop their game knowledge and sportsmanship. Players can easily learn various techniques of the game through this mega event easily. He also said that Sri Prakash Management is conducting this type of state level and national level games at their campus through which they are promoting a desire on games among the students.
Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary said that winners who showed their skills and confidence in games should be an ideal for other students. After that, participants from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka Under-19 boys category – 42 teams and Under-19 girls category – 18 teams gathered here to play Cluster-VII Basket Ball championship. The Chief Guest and other Guests of Honor started the Cluster-VII Basket Ball Championship by releasing the pigeons into the air.
