Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam @ SPACES
SPACES Degree College celebrated Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam on the occasion of Sri Gidugu Ramamurthy Birth anniversary on 29th August, 2024. In this context, a seminar was organized to the degree students. The speaker of the day was Sri P. Murali, Telugu teacher, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan.
The speaker elaborated the beauty of Telugu language with some excerpts from the works of Ramamurty and also he emphasized the importance of learning other languages for better career opportunities and employment but one must not forget ones mother tongue . His speech reverberated the audience, highlighting the value of preserving and protecting the culture of Telugu language.
Dr ARK Reddy, Principal , SPACES degree College explained the ancient nature of telugu language as it is one of the six classical languages in India and it is also called Italian of the East. He paid tribute to sri Gidugu Ramamurthy who was instrumental in simplifying the telugu language, making it more accessible for the common people. He stressed that the mother tongue should not be remembered on its special day but it should be protected. At the end, he felicitated the chief guest with memento. Staff, students participated in the programme.
