He hoisted the national flag and was honoured with a wonderful march past by the NCC cadets and the school house teams. Addressing the students, he said that they must follow instructions given by parents to fulfill their dreams. They can achieve their goals only through strong will power and discipline. He further shared that every citizen must always realise the fruits of freedom and the perseverance of our freedom fighters. He asked the students to read different books from libraries as our leaders used to, to understand our country's heritage in the context of contemporary times. The theme of our celebration is " WE BE THE REFORMERS TO RESTORE RESOURCES".<br> We have many reformers throughout the world, and they brought a great permutation in the society. Natural resources are essential for our survival. If over usage continues in the name of progress, there will be no natural resources left for future generations. Around 600 students from Grades V to X including the NCC Cadets made the day lively with the practice of Yoga Aasanaas . Sri Chadaram Sivaji garu, the renowned Yoga trainer of Sri Sitarama Dattatreya Yoga Sikshana Kendra, Tuni attended as the Chief Guest of the programme. Addressing the students and the staff, Sri Sivaji emphasized the importance of Yoga to lead a stress-free healthy life. He strongly recommend doing yoga for 15 to 30 minutes every day.<br>His speech followed an hour long demonstration on various Asanas and their importance. He started the demo with Om chanting, followed by various postures of Surya Namaskaram, Sukshma Vyayamam; and ended with Pranayama the master of all the asanas. <br>At the end, he administered an oath to the students, which highlights yoga as a beautiful way of leading a healthy life. The pledge is as follows:' I will abide by the well being of mine, my family, our society and of the world as a whole with the help of Yoga'.<br>Senior Principal Sri M.V.V. S. Murty; Smt. B. LKG to Grade-2 students wore yellow & white dresses .They worshipped with yellow flowers.The teachers expressed the significance of the day with their articles. The guest was honoured with a shawl , fruits and a memento..</p>47th Sri Prakash Foundation Day celebrations - 20232023-08-22T11:14:16+00:002023-08-22T11:14:16+00:00https://sriprakash.org/sri4/index.php/news-tuni/2346-47th-sri-prakash-foundation-day-celebrations-2023P Srinivas<p><img src="https://sriprakash.org/sri4/" alt=""></p><p>The 47th Sri Prakash Foundation Day celebrations on 19th August 2023 were held in an electrifying atmosphere to realise that “EAST or WEST, SRI PRAKASH stands for ALL THE BEST”.<br />To prove this point positively, two masters of two invaluable fruits of our age-old heritage – Classical Music and Yoga – Pakhavaj maestro from Hungary, Sri Balazs Viragh, Sri. V Durga Prasad, International Yoga master adorned the Foundation Day celebration on 19th as Chief Guest and jurist, and Special Guest to be felicitated respectively. <br />The Musical show of Gatha Rahe Mera Dil, celebrated on the occasion of the Foundation Day for two days, echoed with the memorable playback numbers in Hindi and Telugu, proving the ultimate mantra of Indian Culture - unity in diversity. <br />24 budding singing stars in the Juniors category and 11 in the Seniors category from different educational Institutions of Sri Prakash gave their performances in Round -1, the singers choice round on 18th August, the eve of the Foundation Day. <br />They were judged by Supreme Sekhar, an accomplished singer and G Rama Rao, a versatile keyboard player. The audience enjoyed the lively performances of the two maestros as well.<br />The 13 contestants in juniors category and 6 contestants in the seniors category who were through round 1 , gave their performances in round 2.3 and 4 respectively on the Foundation Day, 19th August.<br />The entire arena vibrated with the lively songs as the contestants heartfully rendered the compositions of musicians Sri K V Mahadevan and Sri. S D Burman and the lyrics of Irsadh Kamil and Chandra Bose . <br />The special Pakhawaj concert by the Chief Guest Sri. Balaz Virag left the audience spell bound . This was the first time that the Gatha Rahe Mera Dil stage had a classical musician from the west as the Guest of Honour.<br />Later the Guest of honour and jurist Smt. T E Rani gave a rendering of beautiful songs. On this special occasion the International Yoga Master Sri. V Durga Prasad was felicitated for his remarkable services to the society through Yoga.<br />Sri. Ch V K Narasimha Rao , Secretary & Correspondent , Sri Prakash Educational Society, addressed the gathering on working towards a better society by following good practices in life. <br />The Guests were honoured with mementoes by Sri Ch Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary , Sri Prakash Educational Society.</p>
