On this day Senior Principal Mr. M.V.V.S.Murthy shared his views on the importance of healthy food and its impact on the human body. He posed questions regarding the food items, to check whether all the nutrients are included. He shared the importance of sharing and caring. He asked about the part in the body," Which is the king of our body?" The students curiously answered, "Brain!" Then the Sr. Principal shared the importance of brain as well as the importance of tongue as the tongue is meant for tasting and speaking words as well. He said that food builds our body and the words we use build thoughts in our mind, the thoughts lead to actions, actions become habits and habits become our character which finally leads to our destiny. Students are very excited about this day. They came to school in colourful traditional dresses. Students eagerly waited for the moment to share the food with their friends. A few students took lead along with Sr. Principal to serve their friends and the guests with a lot of affection and care. Students enjoyed the delicious and palatable food prepared by their mothers. Students learned empathy, compromising, social skills through sharing food with others. Finally, they had a fun-filled experienced learning day in the school.

As part of Sriprakash culture Food sharing day was organised on 16 th November in SPVN, Tuni CBSE. Those are CNSL (Cashew nut shell liquid) oil manufacturing company and a plastic bag shredding unit. In the CNSL oil manufacturing factory students observed the machines where the oil is being extracted from the shell of Cashew nut. Students grew more and more curios in asking the process of extraction of oil. They also identified that after extracting oil, the leftover pulp is used to run the boilers. They learned that this oil is used as thinner in paints. 40 tonnes of raw material is processed each day to get 8 tonnes of oil. Crude oil which is obtained gets heated at 180°c and cooled down so that the sludge settles down and the purified oil is stored in a storage tank. The oil is exported to different states.
In the plastic bag shredding unit, students explored the machinery and the process of shredding. They identified that all the plastic bags are first made into small pieces, washed and dried. They are made into bundles and get transported to other factories, so that they can be made into granules and these granules further made into plastic items like boxes.
