The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted a Comprehensive School Safety and Security Review (CSSR) mock exercise at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Payakaraopeta, on November 25, 2024. 
This exercise aimed to assess the school's preparedness for disaster response and identify areas for improvement.

The 57th National Library Week celebrations were held at the Payakaraopeta Branch Library from November 14 to 20. As part of these celebrations, various competitions were organized for government and private school students, including essay writing, chess, quiz, elocution, recitation of Bhagavad Gita slokas, drawing, and yoga.

Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, State Board, High School, Payakaraopeta, excelled in these competitions. 
In the senior category, G. Roopa Shree Naga Shirisha (10th class) and CH. Chandana Varshini (10th class) won the first and third prizes respectively in the Telugu essay writing competition.

In the quiz competition, CH. Mohan Karthik (10th class), N. Bhanu Tejas (10th class), and T. Mohan (8th class) won the first prize.

In the yoga competition, B. Pravalika (8th class) won the second prize, while in the recitation of Bhagavad Gita slokas competition, K. Akhil (9th class) won the third prize.

In the junior category, Tanishya (6th class) and Deekshith (6th class) won the first prize in the quiz competition. K. Venkat (6th class) won the consolation prize in the yoga competition.

The prizes were given away to all the winners by the chief guest, Payakaraopeta Town Circle Inspector G. Appanna Babu, and the guest of honor, Telugu Desam Party Payakaraopeta Mandal President Peddireddy Chitti Babu.

* Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, State Board, High School, Payakaraopeta have emerged as winners at the mandal level in the essay writing competition organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi on the topic "God is my true friend" held on September 26.2024.

This competition was organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi to encourage students to think and write about spiritual values.

సంస్కృతి మన శరీరం అయితే భాష మన ప్రాణం ఈ రెండు కలసిఉన్నప్పుడే పరస్పరం నిలబడతాయని ప్రముఖ ప్రవచనకర్త, శతావధాని తాతా సందీప్ శర్మ అన్నారు. శ్రీ ప్రకాష్ విద్యా సంస్థల యందు గిడుగు రామమూర్తి గారి జన్మదినోత్సవాన్ని పురస్కరించుకొని జరుపుకున్న తెలుగు భాషా దినోత్సవానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన ఆయన విద్యార్థుల ఉద్దేశించి ఉపన్యాసించారు. వెయ్యేళ్లకు పైగా ఉన్న తెలుగు భాషలో ఎంతో గొప్ప సాహిత్యం వచ్చిందని, పద్యం నుండి వచనం, గేయం, కధ, నవల, నాని, హైకు వరకూ అనేక ప్రక్రియలలో తెలుగు కవిత్వం ఉందని, తెలుగులో ఎంతో సాహిత్యం ఉందని విద్యార్థులు అందరూ దానిని చదివి తెలుగు భాషలోని సౌందర్యాన్ని గ్రహించాలని చెప్పారు. తెలుగు భాషకే సొంతమైన ప్రత్యేకమైన ప్రక్రియ అవధాన ప్రక్రియ అని అయన తెలిపారు.  గణితాన్ని, సైన్స్ ని, రెండింటినీ కూడా పద్యాలలో వ్రాసిన ఘనత మన తెలుగు కవులదేనని అయన తెలిపారు.  పుస్తకాన్ని చదివితే అపారమైన జ్ఞానాన్ని సాధించవచ్చని అదే చరవాణి వినియోగిస్తే కాలాన్ని వృధా చేసుకోవడమేనని అందువల్ల ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ పుస్తకాలను చదివే అలవాటు చేసుకోవాలని విద్యార్థులకు చెప్పారు. ఇక్కడ విద్యార్థులు ప్రదర్శించిన పలు ప్రక్రియలు తనను ఎంతగానో ఆకట్టుకున్నాయని, పోతన పద్యాలను విద్యార్థులందరూ ఆలపించిన తీరు, శ్రీ శ్రీ ఖండికలను ఆలపించిన విధానం చాలా బాగుందని, ఈ విద్యాసంస్థ తెలుగు భాషకు ఎంతగా ప్రాముఖ్యతనిస్తున్నారో తెలుసుకునేందుకు ఈరోజు జరుపుకున్న ఈ తెలుగు భాషా దినోత్సవ కార్యక్రమం నిదర్శనమని చెప్పారు. ఇటువంటి చక్కని కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించిన యాజమాన్యానికి ఉపాధ్యాయ బృందానికి తన అభినందనలు తెలియజేశారు చక్కటి వాగ్దాటితో పద్యాలను మరియు ఖండికలను ఆలపించిన విద్యార్థులను కూడా ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన అభినందించారు. అదేవిధంగా సామెతలతో జరిపిన సంభాషణలు తనను ఎంతగానో ఆకట్టుకున్నాయని చెప్పారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటుచేసిన నృత్య రూపకం అందరిని ఎంతగానో ఆకట్టుకున్నది. తెలుగు భాషా దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా విద్యార్థులకు కథలు చెప్పుట, బాల గేయాలు, వ్యాసరచన, ఏకపాత్రాభినయం, సుమతి మరియు భాస్కర శతక పద్యాల పోటీలు, వక్తృత్వం, డిబేట్, రామాయణం పై క్విజ్ తదితర పోటీలను నిర్వహించారు. వాటిలో విజయం సాధించిన విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థులకు ముఖ్య అతిథి సందీప్ శర్మ చేతుల మీద బహుమతులు ప్రధానం చేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రముఖ విశ్రాంత తెలుగు ఉపాధ్యాయులు  KRJ శర్మ,  విద్యా సంస్థల ప్రధానోపాద్యాయులు, ఉపాధ్యాయినీ ఉపాధ్యాయులు మరియు విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Sri Prakash in its style of celebrating events showcased its grandeur in investiture ceremony here on Thursday, 25th July, 2024. Investiture ceremony provides great opportunity to the students to show their confidence, trust and reliability while executing the responsibilities in school. Proceedings of the programme started with the prayer. The chief guest Lt. Col. Neeraj Kumar, Commanding Officer, 13 Andhra NCC BN, was special attraction of the ceremony and the gathering witnessed a grand welcome of him. He congratulated all the newly elected school captains, vice captains and council members of different houses. In his address, he spoke about the importance of being a leader to a group or society depends on persistence and resilience of the person who always treats himself as the best every time. He added other students who are not part of these responsibilities should also feel they are the best. He made the students echoing his words with an excitement among them. He hoisted the National Flag and the school flag. Later, he received the guard of honour by the parade. Newly elected members were introduced by their profiles briefly. Students’ march past left an indelible mark on the gathering with its style of rhythmic drumbeats. At the time of oath, students pledged to uphold the values and interests of the school without misusing any obligation given to them. Congratulating all the members of school and the different houses, Joint Secretary Ch. Vijay Prakash, in his speech emphasized the importance of service to the nation. Great personalities like Mother Theresa and M. S. Swaminathan are always admired, respected and remembered forever by people for their invaluable service to the mankind. He said students should inculcate such heights of spirits in their minds to excel their country to have financial stability, boosting field of science and technology and trusting health care systems.
