Sports can help students build a positive self-image and develop a sense of accomplishment. Sports can teach students transferable qualities like perseverance and resilience. Here, at Sri Prakash Junior College always a balance is maintained between studies and sports. As a result of which our students wherever they go, they become successful. In recently conducted cricket league matches among the students of Junior Colleges of Payakarao Peta and Tuni our students won the Rotary Club Trophy in both senior and junior categories. Creative energy is a personal impulse to absorb and discover new things, to create and break boundaries. It's a mindset that can be applied to everything that people do. Creative energy is important because it can help students to solve problems, to foster personal development, to broaden perspectives, to be more active and present, to innovate and last but not the least to be resilient. In order to inculcate the above qualities among the students of Sri Prakash Junior, the college management has designed a special programme and named it SPICE (Sri Prakash Intermediate Creative Energies) with a tag line “UP IN ORBIT”
"In orbit" is an idiom that means to be thrilled or delighted, especially about someone's success. Hence, the management of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions always wishes that the Prakashites should always possess the required skills and talents that every employer would like to see in their working partners.
Mr. V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murthy, principal, Sri Prakash Junior College has briefed the importance of the programme and wished the students would grab the opportunity to exhibit their talents and reach the required energy levels. SPICE 2024 was celebrated in two phases. First one for Sri Prakash Junior College Boys’ wing and second one for Sri Prakash Junior College Girls’ wing.
In both the programmes the students have exhibited their creative talents equally. Wonderful dance numbers both new and old melodies were displayed by the students with lots and lots of energy levels. Group songs sung by the students caught the attention of the audiences. Stand up comedy programmes were exhibited by several students. Some funny games were also conducted separately for the students and staff members. At one level all the staff members were surprised that their young pupils could exhibit such energy levels. Truly it was a memorable event.
Definitely, they carry, these happy memories with them for the years to come.

Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. Everybody agrees to this. Hence, it is a very important responsibility for each and every educational institution to provide all necessary things to acquire the needed leadership qualities.
Children should realise their latent talents and hone at regular intervals. Hence, Sri Prakash Educational Institutions realise the fact and designed a tailored programme “ATHIDI”, inviting specialists in different fields to inspire and interact with the students. This would definitely help the children to get motivated.
Motivation is important because it's a guiding force for human behavior and can help people accomplish their goals.
On 23rd August, the management, staff and students arranged “ATHITHI” programme. The “Athithi” on that day was one of our alumni, Mr. Akash Devangan, who did his secondary and senior secondary schooling with Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, CBSE wing. Recently, he completed his graduation from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Tiruvananthapuram and got a job opportunity in the Indian Space Research Organisation soon to become a scientist there.
Before interacting with the students, he shared his feeling how he was treated, taught and trained by both teaching and non-teaching faculty members during his stay at Sri Prakash Vidhya Soudham.
He quoted the great saying of Former President Sri. A.P.J. Kalam, “Dream, Dream, Dream. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action.”
He reiterated that one should identify oneself to motivate oneself. For this, he told the four mantras of success designed by Sri. A.P.J. Kalam, professor, aerospace engineer, “I will have great aim; I will continuously acquire knowledge; I will do hard work; and I will persevere and succeed”.
Very humbly he agreed, Sri. A.P.J. Kalam was that hidden and guiding force to ignite his latent talents and to accomplish his goal to reach the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. He emphasized that it is very easy for everyone to accomplish their goals provided they cultivate certain habits.

Throughout the inspiring interaction session, it was noticed that students felt very happy to listen to the mantra of success from one of their seniors.
The principal of the Sri Prakash Junior College, Sri. V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murthy, congratulated Mr. Akash for his success for achieving his much awaited dreams and wished a bright future ahead. Sri. V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murthy promised the gathering that very frequently such motivating sessions will be conducted on a regular basis.

Consistency in the IPE 2024 results.

The students of Sri Prakash Junior College have shown their consistency in their ranks in recently conducted IPE examinations.
Once again they proved that nobody can stop them from becoming victorious provided their efforts are continuous.
Two students got 464 and 463 respectively. Three students got 461 . Two got 460 in MPC stream out of 470 marks and in BiPC stream 433, 432 and out of 440 marks.
Principal Sri V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murty said that the tension free system of learning methods and pollution free environment would definitely provide a success guarantee education.
Sri Ch. V. K. Narasimha Rao, Secretary & Correspondent and Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary congratulated the students, parents and staff members for their combined efforts for this consistency.

SARASWATI POOJA CELEBRATIONS AT SRI PRAKASH JUNIOR COLLEGE

Sri Prakash Junior College, Girls’ wing celebrated Saraswati Pooja as this is believed to bring on wisdom, talent and skills. All the students celebrated it with utmost energy.
The entire campus had a festive look and all the decorations and arrangements for the puja were done by the students. The serene ambience, the artistically done pooja place, the chants of the sacred mantras, melodious devotional songs sung by the students filled the air of Hall during the cultural programme performed by them. The students shouldered the responsibility of all the arrangements for the puja under the guidance of their teachers.
The celebration helped the students to stay in touch with the customs of our country, learn the qualities of team work, leadership and cooperation as well as strengthen the bond between students and staff of the school.
The incharges of all Sri Prakash Educational Institutions, staff members and students have attended the pooja celebrations and had the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.

Ku. Karri Tanuja got selected for National level Hand Ball Competitions.

It gives great pleasure to announce that Ku. Karri Tanuja got selected to play National Hand Ball Competitions. Ku. Karri Tanuja, a second year Intermediate student of Sri Prakash Junior College, represented Visakhapatnam District in the recently concluded State level Competitions played at Kurnool from 16th to 18th November, 2023. She achieved by exposing her latent talents and skills needed for a hand ball player. She would represent Andhra Pradesh Hand Ball Team at National Level Competitions that are being played at Haryana in the 1st week of December. While speaking to the press, she said that it is her 2nd successive achievement for getting selected to represent our state in the national level. She very happily declared that her achievement could only become possible because of the encouragement and facilities provided by the college management and the dedicated coaching of Hand Ball Coach Sri Suresh. ONAM CELEBRATIONS @ SPJC

Sri Prakash has a tradition to respect all religions and to perform all important festivals of India. Today, at Sri Prakash Vidhya Soudham, the students of Sri Prakash Junior College, girls’ wing celebrated Onam with much pump and show.

Onam has a great religious significance among the people of Kerala. Through the celebrations of this festival, people show their gratitude towards the land for giving a good harvest. People offer prayers to lord Vamana and their beloved King Mahabali, for the well-being and longevity of their family members.

All the students wore Kerala’s traditional dress, Kasavu Sari, a traditional white sari with a golden border, left their long hair free and had seasonal flowers. All the atmosphere transformed and gave a complete festive look.

All the students formed into different groups and joyfully danced.

Sri. V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murthy, principal, Sri Prakash Junior College appreciated the performance of the students and wished the students would keep up the same spirit though out their learning period.

Those who have big dreams, always stay positive, work hard and enjoy the journey of learning would definitely reach their destination very successfully. The students of Sri Prakash Junior college proved “Success follows to those who work hard according to the directions shown by their teachers.” The students of Sri Prakash Junior College once again made the management and staff members proud by securing the following ranks in the recently conducted APEAPCET examinations 2023. Mr. U. Venkatesh 497 rank (in Agriculture and Pharmacy) Mr. S. Surya Chararan 767 rank (in Engineering) Mr. S. Ashok 1258 rank (in Engineering) Not only this, around 23 students have secured ranks below 10000 rank. Successful students were congratulated by Sri. Ch. V. K. Narasimha Rao garu, Correspondent; Sri. Ch. Vijay Prakash garu, Joint Secretary, Sri. V.V.S.V Bhanu Murthy garu, Principal and all staff members.

ACHIEVEMENT IN JEE ADVANCE

It is rightly said those who with stand for all troubles with patience and have trust both on their ability and on their teachers would definitely become successful in reaching their goal. There is no short cut for success only patience, persistence and perspiration would make it possible to become victorious in your run. Once, if you taste the taste of success, you will never sit silent till you become successful in each and every endeavour. In JEE advance examination Mr. N. Surya Charan and Mr. S. Ashok duo bagged 199 rank in SC category and 2366 rank in general category respectively. Sri. V. V. S. S. Bhanu Murthy, Principal, Sri Prakash Junior College gave credit to the special coaching given to the students and the efforts of both the teachers and the students.
