It was a beautiful day to be learning outside of the classroom and for children it was not an ordinary day. U.K.G kids were on a fieldtrip to bird sanctuary. It was a beautiful view. They saw different types of birds and rabbits of the white and black. It was educational and fun overall it was a very satisfying trip and the kids even talk today about the trips.
Field trips are not only lots of fun but they can also be very valuable learning experiences for young children. L.K.G kids visited South Central Shopping mall to learn about shopping by watching shopping choices and behaviour. They shopped around to compare prices and value. The sales person explained how the product works and check what’s inside the box. Children learned the use of taking a receipt .They got a chance to learn smart shopping habits. It gave the students a chance to connect classroom lessons to real life experiences.
Sri prakash has its own mineral water plant in the campus . The entire campus is supplied with the mineral water from the plant .The nursery kids were taken to show the R.O. Plant. They were shown carbon pieces and other materials which are used to purify the water . At a time 6000 litres of water is send to purify. We get 1500 litres of purified water. The remaining 4500 litres of water is waste water which is sent to the crops in the fields, through a recycling center shows kids how recyclable water is used but also taught them about recycling, reusing and waste reduction .
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for coming together with family and friends .It was surely a Christmas to remember at Sri Prakash Nursery. The essence of Christmas came alive when the students and teachers got together and shared the merritment. The most important as well as fun part of Christmas is the Christmas tree decorations. The tree was decorated with bright and colourful bells, stockings and stars created by the children in their craft class. The children were beautifully dressed in angels and Santa Claus. The children were told about the birth of lord Jesus it is celebrated on 25 December every year to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children, especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them.
Makarsankranthi is a major harvest festival marking the onset of spring season in India. The festival of Makarsankranti is said to bring happiness, joy and prosperity, especially among the farmer community. Our school campus was gaily decorated to celebrate Makarsankaranti . As part of the occasion, the children were informed about the significance of the festival. The children dressed in traditional attire took part in the cultural activities, dances, songs, kiteflying, gobbemmalu, colourful rangoli, bhogipallu, haridasu kirthanalu, Godadevi pravachanalu, traditional food, bullock cart etc. We invited parents also to inspire them to inculcate traditions and culture among their children from childhood. The celebrations reflected village atmosphere and shared the significance of the festival with our kids so they enjoy it with more fervor as well as gain insights into the rich culture and history of our country.
Children are like precious gems. They are like divine gifts that parents get from the Almighty. Children’s day celebration is fun for the little ones but it is important for parents too. Every parent must understand the importance of children . The chief guest Dr. K. Veeraju offered floral tribute to Pandith Nehru and wished the children a happy children’s day .He also expressed his desire to see children not losing their innocence and spend time with nature. Nursery children celebrated Children’s day with a great zeal. Children sang songs ,the biography of the Nehru, talent shows , shared foods . A scintillating dance performance was presented by the children of grade 1 and 2. The campus was buzzed with excitement and joy as the beautifully dressed up children participated in various activities. The day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour .
In order to celebrate the birthday of lord Krishna, a programme was organized in nursery . The children were dressed up as Krishna , Radha and gopikas. Songs related to janmastami were played while a pooja was performed by the staff members and the children . The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of burning camphor and jingle of bells filled the air. Beautiful decorations were put up to make the event colourful and cheerful. A matkiphod event was organized to mark the mischievous nature of “Bal Gopal” . A few children were dressed up like astaskhis.(Lalitha, Visakha, Champak latha, Citra, Tungavidya, Indulekha , Rangadevi and Sudevi). Children explained about the role and duties of astasakhis by placing a statue of the diety in the cradle.The involvement of the children in the celebrations at such a tender age was worth applauding.
CBSE Students participated in Disha 2019 on 8th dec, at SPSS, Peddapuram which is being conducted by +2 commerce students to bring out the inner talents of students in various events like Add making, Poster Designing, Panel Discussion, quiz and Young CEO. Though more than 11 schools and colleges took part in this mega event, our cbse prpeta students won the 1st prize in three events and bagged 2nd prize in poster making and also got over all championship and received cash reward from J.S .Vijay Prakash sir.
Master Sachin Kumar bagged 1st prize in Young CEO contest, Master Tejaswini Nanda bagged 1st prize in Panel Discussion, Master Hiteshwar Majhi bagged 2nd prize in poster making while Pratyush Kumar Dash, Vincent Yadeedya and Abhishek Mahanta bagged 1st prize in quiz
Students of cbse shared their views with other participants and learned more tips from this event, exhibited their talents on the stage and were inspired by young organizers.
Grade VIII of CBSE, P.R.Peta, Master Pratyush Kumar Dash created a miracle in mathematics which was conducted in three levels on Jan 8th in 2017-2018 showing his ability in improving way without unnerving at any level became the finalist in Math Bee which was conducted in Hyderabad.
