Our primary children Ch.Sanjana- Grade-5, Y.Shanmukha priya Grade-4 and K.Sathvika- Grade-4 have bagged first, second and third prizes in Bhagavadgita sloka competitions which was held by Samarasata seva samithi in payakaraopeta on 29/11/2017

 THE GRAND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF DR. A. P. J. ABDUL KALAM

The primary section of Sri Prakash, Payakaraopeta was glad to celebrate Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s birthday as part of model celebrations on 14th October, 2017. The children highlighted the morning assembly with their effective speeches on the former President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

The students showed their creativity in the decoration of the display board with Dr Kalam’s achievements and his timeline. The students exhibited the books that are written by Dr. Kalam and they decorated his portrait with flowers.

The afternoon session began with more enthusiasm to attract the children’s attention towards the competitions such as essay writing, poster making and quiz. During co-curricular activities, the children participated in the competitions actively. In the quiz competitions, the students were grouped into four categories with the names of missiles i. e., Agni, Prithvi, Trishul and Akash.

 

A FIELD TRIP TO LOCAL MANUFACTURING UNITS

The students of class 4 and 5 of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan had a wonderful visit to small scale manufacturing units located in Tuni. The students accompanied by the teachers concerned visited 1.A Dyeing and Printing Unit, 2. A Manufacturing Unit of Aluminium Utensils as part of their Yatra. The students participated with great enthusiasm and had a keen observation on how the colours are being applied on sarees and what type of material is being used for printing. The students got the useful information of how the aluminium utensils are being manufactured, processed and recycled.

The students felt happy for knowing new things and getting useful information which is related to their lessons in different subjects.

 

VAIDYO NARAYANA HARI

Students of grade 4 participated in a field trip held to familiarize them with the knowledge of internal organs of our body. They were excited to see the baby in the mother’s womb through scanning. Dr. Kiran explained the placement of internal organs, how they function and the sounds in the various systems of our body. She further showed the students the internal organs in the abdomen, through scanning.

We thanked Dr. Kiran for enlightening our kids with very important knowledge of our body functions.

 

CELEBRATING A LEGEND MATHS IN EVERY DAY LIFE

The Students of Primary School, Payakaraopeta Celebrated 129th birthday of the great Mathematician Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan on   22nd December 2016, with the theme “So much to Share”. The objective of the event was to throw light on the concept of numbers how we depend on it from dawn to desk. Students showcased their projects and activities, and carried all their learning to real life examples through showing “Calculations in wholesale and retail market, story time in language corner and also brought the awareness of “Say yes to healthy food” and “No to junk food”. Students encouraged parents to be aware of the BMI (Body Mass Index), which brought the day to a great finish .The event gleamed with a spectacular panorama of learning’s. A great number of parents joined in these celebrations and made the great day.
