Field trips are important to help bridge the gap between education and hands-on experience. L.K.G. C.B.S.E. children visited a cloth shop and observed a variety of clothes worn in different seasons. The children understood that clothes are worn mainly to protect us from cold,heat,dust and rain. Cotton clothes are worn mainly to protect us from cold,heat,dust and rain.Cotton clothes are best in summer,they are light and let the air in. In cold places people wear clothes made of wool,fur and leather,they prevent the body heat from escaping and keep it warm in winter. When it rains we wear rain coats are made of material that does not absorb water and keep us dry when it rains . This field trip is a social experience that provides the opportunity for students to encounter and explore novel things.

The Affable Joint Family

It is very rare to see joint families these days. Most of the families have become nuclear families and moved out from the large and bygone tradition joint family systems. Joint families are almost no where in sight these days. Nursery Kids invited patel’s joint family on Athidi ,children asked about the advantages of a joint family Mr. Jagadeesh patel explained that the family always supports each and every family member . When ever any problem arises, Other people may help but family always supports one another. Every festival brings about the much needed social joy and happiness. Naturally cousins help one another in studies ,play together and grow up together. Finally they said, Joint family can be run successfully if the members remain committed to one another. Children understood that togetherness and selflessness is the essence of joint family and the spirit of unity & discipline prevails.

JANMASHTAMI FERVOUR

Nursery kids celebrated janmashtami with all passion and zeal. students of different classes donned the roles of lord Sri Krishna, gopikas and several other characters related to janmashtami. They won the hearts of spectators. Dressed in the attire of Krishna, Gopikas and other various characters, they enacted their respective roles. The event comprised a group dance by classes 1 and 2.Children,who merrily performed Dandiya dance to the tunes of devotional songs. The pranks of Lord Krishna marked the event more fun and frolic. They also rocked Krishna’s cradle. At the end of the day, photographs were clicked and sumptuous Krishna prasadam was served for a sweet ending to the entire celebration. It created an awareness about Indian tradition, custom and culture. It conveyed the strong message “VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL.”

 

The Teacher in the Child

Discovery, as intriguing process has become a powerful theme in contemporary Culture and entertainment. Most parents try to be realistic in establishing expectations of their children’s learning through their teaching. Grade I and II children invited their parents to “A Day with my child” . Students and parents participated in the programme and explored their knowledge. Parents interacted with the children and expressed their views. They said that school is a temple of learning and they are happy to be involved in the learning process.

 

Understanding the helping hands

Field trips are shared social experiences that provides various opportunities for students to encounter and explore novel things in an practical setting. Grade I  children went to visit the people who help in the school like gardener, janitor, bus driver, washer man, milk man, security guard . children asked them their  duties and responsibilities. Children understood the responsibilities of the helping hands to run a successful school in a better manner.
