Sri Sai Indane Gas conducted Safety clinic programme for SPACES Degree College girl students wherein they were enlightened on various safety measures and precautions while fixing the refill cylinder, while lighting burner and while smelling at night.  Lights should not be switched on while charging the refill. The rubber tube should be regulated at least once every two years.  The standing position of the gas cylinder is important.  Consumption of gas should be properly saved.  Dr. K.Veerraju advised the students to follow the abpve tips and stand as role models to others. 

Sri B.Suryanarayana Tahsildar and Assembly Assistant Electrol Officer of the Constituency of Tuni enlightened the spaces Degree College students on the importance of “Right to Vote”  the elaborated on why youngsters should utilize their franchise.  He clarified that those who were born before Dec31, 1955 are eligible for casting their vote and let the students know about the relevant forms and documents.  He issued them form6 applications saying that the registered candidates will be issued electoral.  Photo identity cards by the election commission of India.  The special drive lasted from July 1st to July 31st. 

SPACES Degree College, Payakaraopeta, hosted an awareness meeting to enlighten the students on traffic towards and accidents.  K.Satyanarayana, Traffic SI, while speaking advised the students to wear helmets while riding a bike and the seat belt while driving a car.  He warned them against overloaded autos.  He told them to keep their identity cards and relevant documents with them.  He felt that student should play a key role in bring out a change among the public and urged them to progress in life with a high aim, which would their parents and teachers proud. 

A group of 12 Students escorted by the staff Sri K.V.V.EswaraRao, Mathematics participated in the 8th IYSC held at University of Mumbai from 16-Feb-2017 to 18-Feb-2017. In this, SPACES Degree College students Mr. T.S.R.S.V.S.Sastry(IIBiotech), B.Siddhardha (II Biotech), Ch.Surya (II Biotech), Ch.Bhavani Shankar (II Biotech) and Ch.Ravi Teja (II MCCS) grabbed first prize in poster Presentation for the Topic: “Natural Resource Management and Traditional Wisdom”.500 presentations from 200 + colleges across the country competed
