We celebrated “NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY” to mark the birth anniversary of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan. As a part of celebrations, we conducted Quiz and Competitions on the theme of “Mathematics in Real life “.We invited the guest of honour, Mrs.M. Madhavi lecturer in Mathematics Government Degree College to grace the occasion. She addressed the gathering by sharing her experiences in learning Mathematics. She also asked children to focus on the basic concepts as they are very essential to solve problems in higher classes .She concluded that application of the concepts plays a major role to score well in any competitive exams.
