Energy conservation is the effort made to reduce the consumption of energy by using less of an energy service.This can be achieved either by using energy more efficiently or by reducing the amount of service used.Energy conservation is apart of the concept of Eco-sufficiency.As a part of National Energy Conservation Week ,which is observed from Dec14th - Dec20th State Energy Conservation Mission(SECM) ,conducted a drawing competition among the students of grade 4 and grade5 on the topic" save electricity save money".Around 50 students participated in the competition which is held at SPVN,Payakaraopetaon Wednesday .Mr.G.V.V.K.R.S.Kishore,DEE Operation,Payakaraopeta ,Mr.Y. Suryanarayana,AE, and Mr.J.Neelakanteswara Rao,JE interacted with the students and shared a few
tips on energy conservation at home and later appreciated the best by giving the mementos for first,second and third places
