As part of their experiential learning journey, our Grade 6 and 7 students embarked on a heart-touching visit to Ashraya Old Age Home ( Sai Annapurna Trust ) Tuni. The visit was a meaningful blend of empathy, education, and environmental awareness. The elderly residents received the children with warmth and grace, sharing inspiring life experiences and stories rooted in wisdom. Students keenly listened, reflecting on the significance of showing respect, compassion, and care towards the elderly." Be the vision for the sightless,Stand by the innocent without fear,Offer heartfelt respect to the elderly,And carry compassion for all in your heart.""They learnt this not from textbooks, but through meaningful real-life experience." The learners expressed their gratitude by distributing fresh fruits and engaging in gentle conversations, earning heartfelt smiles and blessings in return. Afterwards, the students wandered through the nearby nursery, marvelling at the lush greenery and diverse flora. Surrounded by nature's serenity, they pondered over the importance of preserving the environment and nurturing life in all forms.The experience left an indelible impression on young minds, planting seeds of kindness, gratitude, and ecological consciousness.
