Sri Prakash Educational Institutions successfully concluded its 50th Foundation Day Celebrations, marking the completion of 49 years and stepping into its 50th year of service. As part of the festivities, the institution organized a two-day singing competition titled “Gaata Rahe Mera Dil” for students from its various branches across Tuni, Payakaraopeta, Annavaram, Peddapuram, Kakinada, and Rajamahendravaram. The competition was divided into Junior and Senior categories, welcoming participants from the 6th grade up to the Degree level.
The finals, which took place today, featured the renowned playback singer S.P. Sailaja as the chief guest and judge. While addressing the students and parents, she remarked:
“It is truly commendable that the school management organizes such programs, which do not just focus on academics but also bring out the hidden talents of the students. The participants displayed excellent talent during the competition. With regular practice, there is no doubt that they can excel as professional singers in the future.”
She then captivated the audience with her own melodious performance.
Speaking on the occasion, the founder of the educational institutions, Ch.V.K. Narasimha Rao, stated: “Value-based education leads students to greater heights. Sri Prakash Educational Institutions have been working with this commitment for the past 49 years. Students should aim for self-reliance through self-employment. They should strive to become self-sufficient through their skills and hard work, without depending on others. Education should not be just for scoring marks, but for bringing about positive change in society.”
Following her speech, S.P. Sailaja was honoured and presented with a special memento. Thereafter, prizes were distributed to the winners by S.P. Sailaja and the Joint Secretary of the institution, Ch. Vijay Prakash.
The event was attended by Society President Dr. Narendra Babu, Vice Presidents Chakka Suryanarayana, Treasurer Ch. Rama Seetha, and Member Sabbavarapu Suryanarayana, along with students, parents, and several local dignitaries from Tuni and Payakaraopeta
