As part of our Experiential Learning Programme, the little learners of LKG embarked on an enriching visit to a local market, transforming an everyday outing into a meaningful learning experience. They joyfully explored a vibrant variety of fruits and vegetables, identifying colours, shapes, sizes, textures, and tastes through direct observation and hands-on interaction. From red tomatoes and yellow bananas to green spinach, orange carrots and purple brinjals, the children discovered the wonderful diversity of nature. They also explored concepts such as big and small, heavy and light, while experiencing different tastes and textures. Most importantly, the visit helped them understand the importance of including colourful fruits and vegetables in their daily diet for a healthy and energetic life. It was a delightful blend of curiosity, discovery and real-world learning that made the experience truly memorable.
