Last week, our class went on a visit to the market. We were very excited to see different fruits and vegetables. When we reached the market, we saw many colourful stalls. First, we visited the fruit section. There were red apples, sweet bananas, juicy oranges, bunches of grapes and big watermelons. All the fruits looked fresh and tasty. The shopkeepers had arranged them neatly in baskets. Next, we went to the vegetable section. We saw tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, beans, spinach, brinjals and many more vegetables. The vegetables were green, clean and very fresh. Some vegetables were kept in crates, and some were displayed on tables. We also watched the shopkeepers weigh the fruits and vegetables. People were buying items and putting them in bags. The market was busy and full of energy. Our teachers told us how fruits and vegetables help us stay healthy and strong. We learned many new things about different varieties. It was a wonderful visit to the market. We enjoyed the trip and understood the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables.
