Learning Outcome:- Knowing the steps in the agriculture
We had a field trip to fields at Ramabadrapuram to know about farming. We saw different types of crops such as rice, sugar cane, coconut and almonds orchids. We knew the steps of growing crops through the farmer.
Those are .
1. Ploughing: It means prepare the soil by digging
2. Sowing: to put the seeds inside the soil.
3. Watering: Providing water to plants regularly.
4. Harvesting: cutting and collecting crops.
After 90 days the plants become ready for harvest.
By this trip we came to know that farmers take care of crops by giving right amount of water, nutrients and protect them from attack by pests.
