The festival Vasanth Panchami holds profound religious significance among Hindus. The Goddess of knowledge, Saraswati is worshipped this day.This festival is a preparation for the arrival of spring. On this auspicious occasion, the students of Sriprakash, Tuni performed Pooja, chanted hymns in praise of Goddess Saraswati to acquire knowledge. LKG to Grade-2 students wore yellow & white dresses .They worshipped with yellow flowers.The teachers expressed the significance of the day with their articles. The students chanted slokas of Goddess Saraswati.The day of Vasanth Panchami is also considered auspicious for initiating studies in young children.Pencils and pens of the students are placed at the idol of Goddess Saraswati  for seeking blessings and enlightenment.They were distributed to the Primary and Grade-10 students. Teachers, Students and parents of Pre- Primary actively participated in the event and took holy prasadam of Goddess Saraswati.

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan celebrated the 75th Republic day in a grand manner on January 26th, 2024.Mr. K.Bhaskararao , Income tax officer, Tuni was invited as the chief guest of the celebration. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest. He was honoured by NCC cadets with a commanding Parade. He spoke about  the importance of coordination in a family as well as in a country. He stated that if the citizens of country don't have coordination our society will be weakened. Our Senior principal exhorted the students to be strong physically and mentally to make the country strong. He made an important point that we should produce things and not consuming things . Students showed their patriotism by singing songs and making speeches. The school echoed with patriotic fervour when the students spoke and rendered patriotic songs. NCC certificates were distributed to the students by the Chief Guest and the Senior Principal. The celebration came to an end with the distribution of sweets to the students.

With Janmashtami fast approaching, Prakashites had  celebrations with traditional fervour. Children up to class 2 were beautifully dressed up as Krishnas and Gopikas. The school premises were decorated with peacock feathers and pots. Krishna was worshipped and idols of Krishna cradled. Children recited the slokas, sang songs and danced. The students also narrated the childhood stories of Lord Krishna. All students prayed to Lord Krishna with great love and devotion. The students were overjoyed when they hit to break the Dahi Handi. All Gopikas enjoyed the traditional churning out butter. Many parents participated in the celebration with a great joy. The whole celebration was splendid with colourful decoration and amazing performances of the students.

Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam  was celebrated in a grand manner on  August 29th 2023, marking the 160 th birth anniversary of modern Telugu writer Gidugu Rammurthy pantulugaru . Sri  D. Venkata Rama Chowdari ,Grade 1 Telugu  Pandit , Girls High school Tuni was invited as the chief guest for the programme. Various events like padya pathanam , Ekapatrabhinayam , quiz on Ramayanam etc for the students had been conducted in celebration of the excellence of the regional language. The programme started with the  rendering of prayer ,followed by recitation of slokas and classical  dance performance in  praise of  our Telugu thalli. Speaking on  the occassion , Sri Chowdhari lauded the great efforts of  our poets Adi kavi Nannayya ,Tikkana,Yarraapragada towards the Telugu literature in the form of  translation of  Panchamavedam  Mahabharatha and other literary works. The evolution  of language from Grandhokam to Adhunika-Vyavaharikam by the efforts of Sri Gidugu Venkata Rammurthy ,Sri Gurajada Apparao and Sri Kandukuri Veeresalingam  was elaborated on by the guest .  He emphasised importance of learning satakalu in  building  character through values .The school echoed with Telugu fervor by the speeches,  songs and dance performance of the children appreciating the beauty of the sweet  language. The programme came to an end with the distribution of certificates and books to the winners of different competitions  conducted . The guest was honoured  with a shawl , fruits and a memento..

The 47th Sri Prakash Foundation Day celebrations on 19th August 2023 were held in an electrifying atmosphere to realise that “EAST or WEST, SRI PRAKASH stands for ALL THE BEST”.
To prove this point positively, two masters of two invaluable fruits of our age-old heritage – Classical Music and Yoga – Pakhavaj maestro from Hungary, Sri Balazs Viragh, Sri. V Durga Prasad, International Yoga master adorned the Foundation Day celebration on 19th as Chief Guest and jurist, and Special Guest to be felicitated respectively. 
The Musical show of Gatha Rahe Mera Dil, celebrated on the occasion of the Foundation Day for two days, echoed with the memorable playback numbers in Hindi and Telugu, proving the ultimate mantra of Indian Culture - unity  in diversity.  
24 budding singing stars in the Juniors category  and 11 in the Seniors category from different educational Institutions of  Sri Prakash gave  their performances in Round -1, the singers choice round  on 18th August, the eve of the Foundation Day. 
They were judged by Supreme Sekhar, an accomplished singer and G Rama Rao,  a versatile keyboard player. The audience enjoyed the lively performances of the two maestros as well.
The 13 contestants in juniors category and 6 contestants in the seniors category who were through round 1 , gave their performances in round 2.3 and 4 respectively on the Foundation Day, 19th August.
The entire arena vibrated with the lively songs as the contestants  heartfully rendered  the compositions of musicians Sri K V Mahadevan and Sri. S D Burman and the lyrics of Irsadh Kamil and Chandra Bose . 
The special Pakhawaj concert by the Chief Guest Sri. Balaz Virag left the audience spell bound . This was the first time that the Gatha Rahe Mera Dil stage had a classical musician from the west as the Guest of Honour.
Later the Guest of honour and jurist Smt. T E Rani gave a rendering of beautiful songs.  On this special occasion the International Yoga Master Sri. V Durga Prasad was felicitated for his remarkable services to the society through Yoga.
Sri. Ch V K Narasimha Rao ,  Secretary & Correspondent , Sri Prakash Educational Society, addressed  the gathering on working towards a better society by following good practices in life. 
The Guests were honoured with mementoes  by Sri Ch Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary , Sri Prakash Educational Society.

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan celebrated 77th Independence day in a grand manner on  August 15th 2023. Mr. M. Geeta Ramakrishna, Circle Inspector of police, Tuni was invited as the Chief Guest on this occasion.The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the chief guest. A wonderful march past by the NCC Cadets have the guard of honour to the Chief Guest.  Later in his message the Chief Guest advised the students not to be carried away by foreign culture and exhorted them respect Indian culture. He said that teachers play a major role to make the students as good citizens of India. 
Our Senior principal Mr.M.V.V.S. Murthy addressed the students on taking freedom from laziness, bad habits, selfishness to make our country strong. He also shared that it is our duty to stand by dharma, which is one of the spokes of Ashoka chakra, to fulfill our duties .The school echoed with patriotic fervor by the speeches, patriotic songs and dance of the children. Some of the primary students showed their patriotism by acting as Prime Ministers of India .NCC certificates were distributed to the NCC cadets by the Chief Guest and Senior Principal. The programme came to an end with the distribution of fruits to the students.
