We are happy to share that Master E. Naveen Harsha of Grade- 5 stood State Second in the 31st Andhra Pradesh State level Olympiad, Sir C. V.Raman test conducted by Suchir India Foundation on 27th January 2024. Suchir India Foundation announces Sir C.V.Raman Young Genius Awards every year based on the Math, Science and General knowledge skills of students.This year also the foundation announced Sir C V.Raman Young Genius Awards for the year 2023-24.Master E. Naveen Harsha of Grade- 5 achieved it by putting in a great effort and received the award on 4th April at Satya Sai Nigamagamam, Srinagar colony, Punjagutta, Hyderabad.

We are delighted to share the exceptional performance of our students in the M- SET exam.Master E.Naveen Harsha of Grade -5 stood District first, Naga Loukya of Grade- 6 secured Centre first and P.Gowtham Krishna of Grade -7 secured Centre first in Maths Scholarship Eligibility Test -2023 (M-SET) conducted by the Association for Improvement of Maths Education (AIMED) on 25th November 2023.

‘Makar Sankranti’- a gaiety festival we celebrate as the harvest season begins. The supremacy of culture and tradition is grandly celebrated and observed by Sri Prakash's fraternity, students, and their families. Our students have gladly enjoyed organizing the displays of our cultural practices like Bhogi mantalu (bonfire), Bommala Koluvu and Bhogi-pallu as a reflection of festive spirits and unity. They have also graced and ornamented the ambience of our school with colourful Muggulu (Rangolis), kites, flowers, sugarcane, paddy spikes, mango, banana and coconut leaves, Gobbemmalu and Gobbillu. To show gratitude and appreciation towards our Gods of nature (Sun, rain) cows, and farmers, children have marvellously portrayed the roles of Haridas, Gangireddu Jangama Dora, Sodemma, Rytanna (farmer) Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Godadevi. To bring awareness about the significance and benefits of our healthy traditional food, students have exhibited the festive delicacies in various vintage and ethnic utensils, bowls and equipment. Guests are invited and welcomed in an exceptional and auspicious manner by our students. They have cheerfully offered guests our traditional sweets, desserts, and many scrumptious food items. The celebrations of Bhogi, Sankranti, and Kanuma are celebrated by our students with immense enthusiasm, great collaboration and coordination.

Christmas Eve Celebrations @ SPVN CBSE, Tuni

Christmas eve was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at Sriprakash, Tuni. For this Celebrations Rev. G. Madhu, Pastor of SMB Church, Tuni was invited as the guest. He narrated the story of the birth of Christ and the message of life. The kids were more excited about the celebration of the fest. Our tiny tots of Kindergarten spread the essence of Christmas spirit by dressing up as Santaclaus and angels. Grades-1 and 2 students brought the festive mood to the campus with their mesmerizing carols on Jesus. The special attractions of the Celebration was Christmas tree made by reusing water bottles and the wooden sledge. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was not only amply visible on the faces of the children during the decoration of the Christmas tree but also reverberating in their carols and dancing to the tunes of jingling Merry Christmas.

We are happy to share that Master Mutyala. Vishrut of Grade- 4 Tuni CBSE stood District Second in the 34th Ramanujan National Mathematics Competition organized by A Non- Profitable Voluntary Mathematical Service Organization,Ramachandrapuram. The Preliminary test was conducted on 24th September 2023. Twelve students from Grade-4 to 7 were selected for the final exam.The final exam was conducted on 19th November 2023. M. Vishrut stood District Second in the East Godavari district.

THE ART OF BRICK-MAKING

The students of Grades- 6 and 7 were taken on a field trip to " Veeranjaneya Brick yard" near Kavalapadu. The Students paid a visit and got to see different parts of the brick manufacturing units and they experienced the process of brick manufacturing starting from preparation of clay, moulding, drying and burning in brick kilns.There Mr. M.Srinivas, the owner of the factory explained the process to the students. He showed the materials such as black, red and Sandy clay, husk and logs of wood. First they keep the three types of clay in an area and add water, after that they use tractor to mix husk and wood flour. They make bricks with that clay by using brick moulder boxes. After two days the bricks are dried under the sunlight for 10 days in a kiln after drying they burnt them for 10 days to make the bricks strong. The visit was fruitful for the students to learn more about bricks as part of their subject, its properties, materials and manufacturing techniques. It also helped them to know about the technical details and types of soils.

We are so glad to share that SPVN-TUNI-CBSE students participated in different events such as Fancy Dress, Drawing, Bhagavadgita slokas, Elocution, Solo singing, games competitions conducted from 3rd November 2023 to 8th December 2023 by Rotary Club - Tuni as 'Mega Youth Events of New Generation' in Sub juniors, Juniors and Seniors.
* T. Jasmitha of Grade-3 stood first in Fancy dress under Sub- Juniors category.
* A. Namasvi of Grade-3 stood first in Bhagavadgita slokas under Sub- Juniors category.
* K.Pauline kelly of Grade-7 stood first in Solo Singing under Juniors category.
* Ch.Sri Medha of Grade-6 stood first in Fancy Dress under Juniors category.
* K Rodney Kallis of Grade-3 bagged second place in Fancy Dress under Sub-Juniors category.
* P. Anup Sriram of Grade-5 won third place in Bhagavadgita slokas under Sub-Juniors category.
* V. Sri Divyesh Varma of Grade-4 secured Consolation prize in drawing Sub-Juniors category.
* P. Punarnavi of Grade-3 secured Consolation prize in Bhagavadgita slokas Sub-Juniors category.
* The team-V.Bindu Sri, P. Teena Jessica, M.Devi Deepshika, S.Sri Lasya of Grade-7 secured Consolation prize in Dance under Juniors category.

'KRIYA'TIVE ACHIEVERS 2023

We are happy to share that Sriprakash Vidyaniketan CBSE TUNI students participated in "Kriya" state level competitions held on 25th and 26th of November at JNTU, Kakinada. 30 students took part in the competitions from CBSE TUNI with joy and zest. Our students K. Rodney Kallis(Grade-3) secured second place, T.Jasmitha (Grade-3) secured third place in fancy dress in the Sub-Juniors category. P.Anup Sri Ram (Grade-5) secured 1st Consolation in Project. E. Naveen Harsha (Grade-5) secured 2nd Consolation in Spell bee in the Sub-Juniors category and we sealed second place in classical dance under the Sub-Juniors category. The team of participants of classical dance are K. Sai Swathi(Grade-5),K. Hanvika (Grade-5), V. Kundana Satya (Grade-4), Ch. Harsha Vardhani (Grade-4) and S. Anuhya (Grade-5).

Achievers of Tuni Town Library Competitions

As part of 56th National library week celebrations various events were conducted from 14th November to 20th November by the District Library organization, East Godavari at Government Library, Tuni. Our students participated in various cocurricular competitions, which included Drawing, Essay writing, Elocution, Quiz and brought laurels to the school. P. Gowtham Krishna, B. Harshvin Dalith and V. Vaibhav Subrahmanyam of Grade-7 stood 1st in Quiz under Junior category. The students received certificates and books as prizes.
