BLOOM WITH SPRING VIBES

The season of spring is the king of all seasons because it has the most pleasant weather. There is natural greenery everywhere, all the trees and plants get new leaves and new flowers bloom all around, there are birds all around chirping... The arrival of spring was celebrated by the nursery kids with great excitement. Colourful hangings related to the spring season could be seen everywhere which gave a festive look to the school ground. A miniature garden was decorated with colourful flowers, butterflies, bees, etc. depicting the theme of spring. Students made different flowers with crepe papers. Different stalls were arranged for the competitions of “Potted Lassi” and “Water Melon” salad for the parents. There was a spring party for the students. Parents and teachers served the children different food items. There was music in the air and the aroma of traditional food was all around. A colourful day came to an end with lots of happy faces as the students expressed their joy, whole heartedly welcoming the spring.

The hostel students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan Payakaraopeta, took part in the celebration of 'Holi' which is known as the 'Festival of Colours'.Students extend Holi greetings to the teachers, friends and follow students .All the students from different states like Bihar,Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Odisha, Tamilnadu, Gujurat, Assam, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Delhi,including Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and Telengana gathered together and sprinkled colours on each other.It was awesome to see the 'Unity in Diversity' .

payakaraopeta under the supervision of art and craft teacher Mr.P. Lovaraju ,made a sand sculpture of a woman with a catchy caption " Women are real Architects of society" The sculpture attracted everyone at first sight. The students participated in the event very enthusiastically and wished all the woman.All

the woman felt very happy for being recognised and were given special importance.

Prakashites celebrated the harvest festival of the state "Pongal" on 8th January 2022.The day was colorful with beautiful decorated rangoli flower patterns,Haridasu music, Gobillu songs,pumpkin selfiepoint, traditional replicas of grinding stones and so on .Traditional attires and traditional dances were inestimable. Sweet pongali was prepared and offered to the Sun God and distributed to everyone. A typical village atmosphere was recreated and filled with traditional look on the school premises.

Christmas is the festival that teaches us to live with harmony and peace. It also teaches sharing and helping the poor and needy. Sri Prakash nursery and primary kids celebrated Christmas with enthusiasm .Santa Claus arrived with the song “Jingle bell jingle bell jingle all the way”. The Christmas tree symbolizes a new life, the Christmas tree is decorated fully with stars, balloons, lights, and children craft works. The star on the top of the Christmas tree represents faith. The festival is celebrated by singing carols, hymns, prayers, dances, conga music etc. The Children were dressed in red and white attire. The school environment got enriched with the positive energy of happiness and celebration . The Children felt excited and joyous. The festival was celebrated with traditional pomp.

Sri Prakash has a customary to perform goddess SARASWAHI DEVI pooja on MAGHA PANCHAMI , birthday of SARASWATHI DEVI who showers HER blessings on little buds to abound their education and health. Children love HER with fervor so they adorned the holy pandal by placing HER statue with festoons all corners. Children were beguiled with chanting hyms and were savouring throughout the pooja and they sanctified their souls. Children from various wings such as nursery, primary, state enjoying this festival and they were completely in festive mood until completion of the pooja. At last we distributed “prasadam” to all devotees.

SKY ROCKETING VICTORIES IN SRI PRAKASH

Students of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, CBSE, P.R.Peta have created a tremendous victory in cluster sport meet in which they have also got to participate in national in various events which would be in fact common for Prakashites. They have hoisted our school flag in cluster events this year also by winning Gold Medal in 4x400 mts running, 4x100 mts sprint in Athletic region conducted in C.M.R.Hyderabad where they have also qualified for national to play in Chhattisgarh. Under-17 boys have won Gold Medal in Basket Ball conducted in S.P.V.N. Payakarao Peta who are ready to roar their talents in national in Indore. Under-17 boys and under-19 both boys and girls have reached to nationals to participate in Kho-Kho in Haryana who have won gold medals in Hanumakonda. Finally our under-17 boys have won gold medal in Valley Ball conducted in Nizamabad where they are going to participate nationals in Madhya Pradesh. Total 65 students from our campus are going to participate in nationals which are well remarkable memory.
