National Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22nd December to honour mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan who was born on this date in 1887.
Mathematics is the cradle of the creations without which the world cannot move.
To raise awareness among people about the importance of mathematics every year " National Mathematics Day" is celebrated.
It's a great learning for all the Prakashites through such celebrations.Senior Principal,Sri M.V.V.S Murthy , shared that pattern recognition is very important in expertising any subject .One should clearly understand the difference between look and observe.
Prakashites thoroughly had hands-on- experience participating in today's event. Learning of different concepts like Numbers, Operations, Angles ,Shapes, Symmetry, Fractions, Decimals, Measurements, an so on are displayed and explained in the form of projects by the Prakashites. Sand portrait of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan was an excellent art work by Prakashites.
